How to Get Involved

Shore Patrol:
Shore Patrol is one of the easiest ways a parent can volunteer within PHRA, and it's a critical position. A Shore Patrol volunteer is needed at each practice. If the rowers don't have adult supervision on the shore, they aren't allowed out on the water. Please contact Shore Patrol Coordinator, to schedule a time.

Attending Regattas:
Your rower and his/her whole team greatly appreciates support from the sidelines at their rowing events. Regattas are a wonderful time to visit with other parents, cheer on Plant Crew and enjoy beautiful weather. We have compiled some helpful information entitled Regatta 101, which will help prepare you.

Committees
Since Plant Crew is a club sport, it receives zero funding from Plant High School and/or the Hillsborough County School System. Volunteer time is an important part of every family's membership in PHRA; parent involvement is a welcome and needed component of each season. There are numerous PHRA committees from which you can choose to participate based on your schedule, interests and talents.

Wish List
The sport of rowing is an expensive one. PHRA is always in need of supplies and equipment. If you are interested in donating in any way to the Club, please contact
Coach Moseley or PHRA President.
